Operation Fresh Produce Drop

Join Eat Greater Des Moines by volunteering for Operation: Fresh Produce Drop! This initiative helps connect fresh foods to our community partners including non-profits, community groups, churches, schools, affordable housing communities, and more! Volunteers will help unload and load boxes of assorted produce and dairy products into the vehicles of our partners using a drive-thru method. *Must be able to lift 30lbs.

Thanks to Des Moines Public Schools, Operation Fresh Produce Drop will take place inside their Operations Warehouse.

Volunteer Attire:
Closed-toe shoes
Face mask
Dress for the weather

Due to the current pandemic, we require everyone to wear a mask. If you do not have one, we will have one provided to you upon your arrival.
